October 24, 2015

Bob: It has been mostly a rainy day here. Started the day off by walking an hour on the treadmill. The TV in the exercise room is finally working so that helps some. A little over 11 minutes into the walk the electricity went off for a second and I about walked off the treadmill! Glad I was holding on.
We did go out this afternoon though. We found a Canadian Super Store, which is really a discount grocery and much more store. Bonnie was able to buy the special candy bars we give the missionaries on their birthdays. Didn't take time to look for much else as I was interested in going to the outlet mall.
We went to the Vaughn Mills outlet mall which is located on route 400 behind the Bass Pro Outlet. I was able to find the sweaters I was looking for at Van Heusen. After we finished there we walked part of the mall, but it was too big for us. Looking at the map of the place I don't think we saw over 1/4 of it.
As soon as we got home we took a nap. Mine lasted a lot longer than Bonnie's because when I awoke she was in the kitchen preparing cupcakes for Munch 'n Mingle tomorrow.
At 6:30 we went to the Jensen's apartment for a soup dinner. There were 4 temple couples, the Barrett's and their son, Laura, the Ericksons and us. There were 3 different types of soup, various breads, cornbread, plus ice cream and brownies for dessert. It was fun getting together with everyone.
After that we went to Walmart to make some photos for the wall hanging we have been trying to get up since we got here. We just haven't moved too fast on this project.
Better get to bed as it is just after 11. Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Good night brother.
Love,
Dad/Bob

Bonnie:  Bob has summed up what we did today very well. I'm so glad to get the pictures done for our new wall-hanging. It has space for 18- 4x6 photos, so besides family pictures, we have picked out some the best pictures of our mission so far.  I hope to get it completed tomorrow and then hung next week-end. There won't be any time between now and then to hang it.
One other wonderful thing: I now have a vacuum cleaner! We got it from one of the storage units. It was so nice today to vacuum our carpets instead of sweeping them down. It makes cleaning the apartment go much quicker.
Tomorrow we have to pick up three YSAs, we think. I also need to text several of the Bishop's appointments to remind them of their interviews. It will be a short Sunday morning, unfortunately. And at the end of the day when we contact the missionaries about inactive YSAs in Mississauga we will have some changes because of transfers. Oh, well it is all good. I look forward to the Sabbath and especially sacrament meeting tomorrow.
May all of you also look forward to an inspirational, edifying Sabbath Day.
Love,
Mom/Bonnie
