After church we took Sister Cushman home. As we were leaving a man from the Gideon Society stopped us and we had a good chat about what he is doing. He has been visiting that nursing home every Sunday for 20 years.
Once we got home we ate and then walked down to the lake and just enjoyed watching some boats leave and some come in. Finally we came home and planned our week. Finished the evening by watching our nightly Murdoch Mysteries show.

Bonnie: It was very special to have Sister Cushman confirmed today. She said she felt "warm" inside when she was asked to receive the Holy Ghost. Bob did the confirmation. And there was an extra bonus because one of the sisters brought several bags of "gently" worn clothing for whomever wanted it. Sister Cushman found several things she liked. Apparently, there are not enough volunteers or staff to take the clients places. She said they never get to go shopping, especially for clothes. Karol seems so happy about everything. I hope her health holds out for a long time to come. She'll be a great addition to the Branch.
Tomorrow we hope to find some more people home and to follow through with a few others. I suppose it's chancy doing this tomorrow because it is a holiday. We'll see.
