July 18, 2016

Bonnie: This morning we spent time talking to the assistant ward clerk about people in our Branch. He helped us quite a bit. Most of the rest of the day I spent cooking dinner for the Elders. I thought our dinner appointment was for next Monday, so it was good that we were at the church so I could see the sign-up sheet! I had to scramble to figure out something and came up with meat loaf and baked potatoes. It seemed to work well.
We have been invited to dinner with the other Senior couples at the mission home next week. But, Elder M. Russell Ballard is coming in August so I think we will come down at that time to see him. There is plenty to do here anyway!
I hope your day has been wonderful. May we continue to be faithful to the things we know to be true. We love you all!

Bob: We did stop at the Salvation Army and ask them if they needed volunteers at their food bank. It is only open 1:30 - 3:30 on Tuesday. So we will check that out tomorrow. Brother Sauve said he knows they need help with feeding the patients at the hospital. We can check on that tomorrow, too.
Talked to some families about visits. Have one appointment tomorrow evening at 5:45 in Latchford, which is about 20 - 25 minutes away and the possibility of another one as well.
Better quit for now. Love to all and good night brothers.
