May 28, 2016

Bob: 28 years ago Bonnie and I started our journey. Who knew we would end up in Canada!! The journey has had many surprises and who knows what lies ahead, But I'm sure loving the trip with her. We didn't have any big celebration today, but I look at her when she's not looking and wonder what I would ever do without her. Hope we have many years ahead of us.
We had to go to the office today (what a way to celebrate). Bonnie worked on MLC flyers and I took the items we picked up at Algate's yesterday and put them in the storage shed with some other items we are taking with us to Temiskaming. It sure looks like we will end up renting a small truck to take things up with us. May have to get another driver and companion!
The apartment building turned on the air conditioning a day or two ago and never posted a notice that they were doing it. I have had it on full blast for about 11 hours and the temperature in our apartment has dropped from 26°C to 24°C (that's 75.2). Don't know if it will ever get real cool in here. Bonnie is probably comfortable, but I'm still looking for a few more degrees cooler.
Went to the movies with the Erickson's tonight. Saw 'Captain America - Civil War'. Bonnie said Captain American won as he showed forgiveness. It was pretty good, but I think there is more to come.
Better close this down as it is after 11. Love to all and good night brothers.

Bonnie:  Our life together has been an amazing ride, with its ups and downs. How I love this guy from his beautiful little town of Reader, West Virginia.  He was an answer to the prayers of a single Mom with six children, that's for sure. How blessed we were in finding each other. We continue to find joy in doing things together and pray it will continue for a very long time!
Today we accomplished a lot and ended it with a good movie. What a beautiful day. And hopefully, tomorrow will be even better. We only have to pick up one YSA in the morning. Many of the YSAs are at a Conference in Kirtland, Ohio this week-end. There may be only a few at church tomorrow because of it. One important thing we will be doing is asking the missionaries in Mississauga to  help contact inactive YSAs. I feel it is extremely important to try to finish what we have started there. May all of us have a very special day tomorrow!
Love, Mom/Bonnie
