Bonnie: I didn't get much sleep last night so today was a harder day for me. We got the orders ready for MLC for the most part and that is wonderful. I just have to do some last minute things, such as get the men to move the boxes of Books of Mormon out for the zones that want them. I will also get the mail out to each zone, as well as the birthday candy bars tomorrow. We were done by about 4:30 today and I was exhausted. We decided to forgo Institute tonight and we went out for dinner to the Giggling Tomato instead. It was good and I didn't have to go home and cook! Tomorrow we are responsible for the waffles so that will make things busy. Again, it is a good kind of busy. And I will be going to bed by 10:00 tonight so that will help.
The best part of the day came from my grandchildren. I got two pictures in the mail from Lori, a drawing by AJ of me when I danced with the Golden Girls and also a hand-print from Gwynn. I love it. And I also see from face-book that my grand-daughter Faith will be going to Paris, France with her Dad to the United Nations Climate Summit! How proud I am of her. What an opportunity! How proud I am of all my grand-children.
My love to all,
Love,
Mom/Bonnie
Bob: Today wasn't too bad. Started at 8:30 and done at 6:00. Got about everything done except my Follow-Up list! Better check it the first thing in the morning. Probably wasn't anything urgent today, but one can't get too far behind. Did accomplish a good bit of work on the phone/text report. That project is making progress, but it is slow and tedious. Gave the President a report based upon his comments about the preliminary work. He said that it was something that would be helpful. Problem is it was only for one companionship. There wouldn't be enough time to do everyone. I guess we just work on the ones that are out of alignment with the average. Barely got started on the text report. I did find that the average number of texts by each set of missionaries is over 2000 per month!! The Bishops's Storehouse couple won the prize for the fewest, 2!! So tomorrow and any other chance I have I'll be working on the 2 companionships with the most texts, 7000 and 6600.
The Giggling Tomato was okay, but I don't rate it very highly. Not my intention to return.
One great thing about today is the temperature got almost to 70. And the temperatures till Friday are to be between 65 and 70.
Enough rambling. Everyone have a great day tomorrow. Love to all, and good night brother.
Dad/Bob
