Bob: Another nice day at work, but the weather is quite cool, wet and windy. Thankfully, not any white stuff falling.
We will sign a lease Monday for the new apartment. They finally agreed today to do it, but then we hit another snag. They insisted payment be made with a certified check, money order, or cashier's check. Unfortunately, we cannot get any of these from the bank because our account never has money in it except for a few hours after we make a deposit. The leasing rep insisted on it, but the people above her told said accept our company check as payment. I am not sure why the big hassle. They also want photo ids of the tenants, all information about their car, and proof of tenant's insurance. Of course the church doesn't buy tenant's insurance. So that is an issue we have to skirt around.
Brad arrived from North Cobalt this evening and we had a nice meal together here. Then we spent the whole evening catching up on the news from the Branch, etc. The Barrett's stopped by and left some things for the apartment. They didn't get out of here till after 7 I think. Then they called me as they made a stop at the Ludlow's to return a book. They found the house all dark and the keys to the house in the lock. I called the home and Mr. Ludlow answered. Thankfully nothing had happened to he and his wife. The Barrett's still had to drive to Buffalo tonight. Their car was so full of stuff. Reminded me of our packing!!
Well I'm going to get ready for bed. Hope everyone is well. Love to all, and good night brother.
Dad/Bob
