Below is a picture of one of the homes we passed on our walking tour in Niagara-on-The-Lake this past Tuesday. The story goes that a businessman came to town, fell in love, married her, and later on built this home. Years later another woman visiting the town saw the home and went up to the front door. She knocked and in talking to the lady of the house said she would like to see her home on the inside as the outside looked so much like hers. While looking around she spied a picture on the mantle. She asked where that picture came from. The lady replied that it was her husband. She in turn replied, 'That's my husband too!' The final outcome of this situation is: The man lost 2 wives, 2 homes and his business. I guess he liked the looks of the home too much.
