Bonnie and Bob:  I now know why Canadians need to take of their shoes/boots when they come into someone's home, especially in the cold weather.  Tonight I decided to clean the floors. They are laminate of some kind and Bob looked up on the internet how to clean them. It starts, of course, with sweeping up the floor. After I moved everything and started to sweep I ended up with a huge pile of sand and other dirt. I couldn't believe it. We try not to wear our boots into the interior of our apartment, just mostly by the door. We learned yesterday that they use sand on the roads instead of salt. It's amazing how much gets tracked in, even when we are careful.
Tonight we had a wonderful dinner with some of the other residents in our apartment building. I have to say this much, there are some good cooks here!
Tomorrow is a service day for one of the sisters in our Branch. Then, in the eveining there is a Christmas party here with decorating a tree and Christmas carols and a drawing for some kind of prize. We are enjoying living here.
May there be some special kind of enjoyment in your lives tomorrow, too.
Love, Mom/Bonnie

Love to all and good night brothers.
Dad/Bob
