November 14, 2016

Bonnie:  We left today about 12:30 and got home just after 9:00 tonight, making just 4 visits and traveling about 172 miles. We connected with a couple in Virginiatown that we have been trying to see since we got here. They have a cottage that is close to their home and they spend most of their time there until late fall. They will be moving to Waterton next week and selling their house so it's a good thing we caught up with them!  I think that they will get back to church when they move because it will be closer to them. Right now it takes them over an hour to get to our Branch. We spent about an  hour and a half with another sister, who has some problems. I feel good about that visit. Anyway, it's good to be home.
Tomorrow is our Activity Night which is always fun. And we have some people to see and others to contact during the day. And the Elders are coming for dinner. We will go over our lists of members, as well. It will be a great day.
Have a good night everyone!
Love, Mom/Bonnie

Bob: Bonnie didn't mention that at our last visit the less-active sister was not home. Her husband, who previously shut the door in the face of her and Sister Jakob, received us quite well. I had talked to him before when I saw  him outside working in his yard. However, he said, "My wife hasn't had anything to do with you folks for 35 years." I told him that was probably because we can never find her home!! He just smiled and agreed to give her the Relief Society activity invitation we had for her.
We also took time today to drive back a dirt road to a lake I have never been to before. I am always looking for new places to explore.
Time for bed. Love to all and good night brothers.
Dad/Bob
