November 24, 2016

Bob: It has snowed very lightly all day. We stopped at Sister Buffam's to deliver her a birthday card and then to see Roxanne LaPointe late this morning. Then we took the Elders and drove to Kirkland Lake for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner hosted by Brother Michael Dale. Everyone had a good time and it is a dinner none of us will forget for a while. Brother Dale is quite the cutup.
On the way home it was snowing slightly, but the roads were clear.
Hope your day was wonderful. Love to all and good night brothers.
Dad/Bob

Bonnie: Roxanne gave me a very nice pair of boots that are too small for her. They fit alright and I will be wearing them probably every day, unless it stops snowing.
Dinner did turn out quite well, although there were no vegetables and no sweet potatoes. There was only a little dressing mixed in with the turkey. Mike brought down a can of corn from his apartment, but his can opener did not work and we couldn't find one in the kitchen. The tables were set up for 10 people and were decorated with a fall theme. Unfortunately there were only 6 of us, which included a good friend of Mike's, us and the Elders. It's a Thanksgiving we won't forget for awhile!
We sincerely hope that all of you have had a delightful day today. We give thanks for all of you, our family and friendsand all of our many blessings. The Lord has given us many tender mercies!
Love, Mom/Bonnie
