November 19 & 20

Bonnie:  We have had a lovely, though cold, Sabbath Day. There were not very many people at church today because of the snow and cold. But, our less-active friend Roxanne came with us! I think she enjoyed it very much. Hopefully she will continue to come. She told one of the members that she is deciding between the Baptists and our church. We need to do a better job of explaining the differences between our religions, don't we?
We just got home from making two visits tonight. I'm glad we made them because they were enjoyable. I will let Bob write about them.
We are including a picture of Bob and I outside of the church today and one of our RS activity on Saturday.
I hope everyone has had an enjoyable day as we have had.
Love, Mom/Bonnie

Bob: We had a lot of snow today. Look at the handrail behind us in the picture. The street up to the church was not plowed and I could not get all the way up it. I was able to make it to the front parking lot, though, so we were okay.
Just noticed that we didn't blog last night. Yesterday was a cooler day. The temperature dropped and brought rain that eventually turned to snow. The Relief Society had their activity yesterday. There were 10 women there and they made arm scarves. These are scarves made without knitting needles, just using hands and arms. There was plenty of food also. Below is a picture of those who attended with their scarves. Some of the scarves need to be finished at the bottom edge.
We visited with the Humphreys and Brother Corville this evening. Brother Sauve took us as he home teaches the Humphreys. We home teach Conrad, so Brad went with us there. We keep encouraging Conrad, but he doesn't feel worthy right now. We'll keep trying!
If you didn't notice Bonnie does not have a coat on in the picture. Don't know why she agreed to that!
Well it's time for bed. I'll say good night and hope your weekend went well. Love to all and good night brothers.
