Bob: Went to Larder Lake today to visit 4 people. We only got to see 1 of them. Two others were not home. In fact, the mother of one of them said her daughter has moved away. The final couple never answered their phone.
Weather wasn't too bad today, but I thought I would get a pair of snow boots for the winter. Found a pair of boots that were marked 'waterproof'. Asked the cashier about returning them if they proved not to be waterproof. She informed me that once the shoes are worn they cannot be returned. She said 'We cannot guaranteed the manufacturer's claims'. Needless to say I did not buy the boots.
We invited 3 people to dinner tomorrow, but all 3 'are engaged' elsewhere.

Bonnie: Tonight I met with the Relief Society President for a brief time. There is lots to discuss, especially with the visiting teaching. We want to plan an activity for the sisters in the Branch in November, too. She already has most of the stuff we need so that will work out well. After meeting with her, I spent the evening working on the lesson I am giving tomorrow. A member of the Stake Presidency will be speaking to us, too. That will be wonderful. In fact, he is the son of one of our active couples here. It will be a very good Sabbath Day.
Hopefully, it will be a wonderful Sabbath Day for all of us!
