February 22, 2017

Bob: Drove to Dobie this morning to meet with Sister Janet Hamilton. She is a very interesting lady. Her life has had a lot of hardships and she believes the Church is true, but can't make the commitment to attend regularly. We had a good visit and hope to see her again when we come back to the area. The little town of Dobie is surrounded by the bush and there are no retail services of any type there. I believe she is about 12 miles from Kirkland Lake.
We tried to see Cathy Mason on the way back, but the people at Wendy's told us she is off work with some medical issues. They said they would give her a message from us.
Delivered meals for Meals on Wheels this afternoon and then attended the monthly potluck here in the building.
Went to visit John Evans, but he forgot we were coming and wasn't there.
Packed  up our portraits tonight. Will start packing in earnest tomorrow.
Time for bed now. Love to all and good night brothers.

Bonnie:  As I write this, I am surrounded with stuff--food to deliver to a Branch member, kitchen stuff that must be packed away, packing materials, towels, sheets, CDs, games, books, etc. Tomorrow I will deep clean the refrigerator and begin to figure out what clothes I will need for the next month. It's a daunting task. We may not come back from Stake Conference on Sunday. Instead, we will go straight to Brampton afterwards. That means that we must be all packed up on Saturday morning. Whew! I don't know if we can do that, but it makes a lot of sense to try.
Well, I must go to bed soon if I will be able to do this tomorrow. Everyone, have a good night!
Love, Mom/Bonnie
