February 14, 2017

Bonnie:  Happy Valentines Day, everyone! We started our day at Sister Benn's shop where we hung clothing and also picked up a big bag of children's clothes for President Jakob's little girls. Then, we were to meet an investigator at the New Liskeard Library. This was an appointment that the Elders set up, and then were unable to keep. We were not able to find him.  (Of course we didn't know what he looked like anyway!) We then went to a grocery store to pick up a dozen red roses for Sister Vottero, whose husband has just passed away. Next, we saw an older Sister in our Branch to give to her a valentine envelope with cards and Hershey hugs in it. She is so sweet! Then, it was on to Englehart to see the Cushman's and to deliver their valentine envelope. We had a great visit. Lastly, we visited Sister Vottero and gave her the roses and her valentine envelope. It was a long day for us, but full of good feelings and love for the great members of our Branch.
I hope everyone has had a day full of hugs and kisses, the real kind, not the candy!
Love, Mom/Bonnie

Bob: Bonnie took me to my favorite restaurant for a quick bite before we went to Englehart. Enjoyed that very much. She knows how to make me happy!
She has summed up the activities for the day. We did get a little snow today--there were flurries most of the day, but not much accumulation. The temperatures climbed to about 30°F. Tomorrow is supposed to drop a little and then the temperatures climb to the 40s. Can't wait for that.
Better get to bed. Hope you and your valentine enjoyed the day. Love to all and good night brothers.
Dad/Bob
