Bob: Today was our last Sunday meeting in the Temiskaming Branch. It is so hard to say good bye to dear friends. I put several pictures taken today below plus a picture of our friend, Lois, taken tonight. After Church today the Priesthood cooked waffles for everyone and provided ice cream and several different fruits for toppings. It was very delicious, but I am partial to waffles. We 'donated' our waffle maker to Brad and we are sure he will make good use of it.
Tonight we visited with Lois down the hall. Her husband was the founder of the Highway Bookshop on Route 11 just before it splits with Route 11B. He owned it for years and after his first wife died he married Lois. They ran it for about 32 more years before he died. Then, she closed it after failing to find a buyer. I put a picture of the bookshop below.
Well I will call it a day. We have had a wonderful weekend. Now our attention turns to getting ready to travel home. We need to make decisions about what to take and what to give away. We have two offers from friends willing to store items until we come back to get them!! We will leave with both our car loaded and our hearts full. We have enjoyed our time here and dearly love our friends of the Temiskaming Branch. Love to all and good night brothers.

Bonnie: We still have several appointments with people we need to see this week. And, Bob has some basketball games he is doing on Thursday. It will be a busy week. Our friends, the Cushman's, need us to take to them to see someone at a government office, as well. I hope that goes well. I'm glad we are busy up to the very end.
