February 10, 2017

Bob: Lot of running around today, but we only got to see one person. Bonnie has been busy since 5:00 getting food ready for our dinner here tomorrow night. We are having Jack and Trudy plus Brad and his daughter Kayla. His other daughter Emma is non-committal right now.
We were taken on a tour of 3-H furniture today by Tom Cambridge. He is one of the partners there. He will have been with the business 40 years this year. He said well over half their employees have been there over 20 years.
Went to the funeral home this afternoon with Brad, Brother Vottero's son, Mario, and son-in-law to dress Bro. Vottero's body. Everything was alright and Mario really appreciated everyone's help. The funeral will be at noon tomorrow.
Got up with a lot of back pain this morning. I hope it is only the bed as once I get up and get moving things get a lot better. When we were visiting in Pennsylvania and Maryland my back felt better. I don't think we'll be getting a gel mattress soon!
Hope everyone has had a great week and looking forward to a great weekend. It was -15° when we got up today. The weekend highs are expected to be 25 each day. That actually sounds pretty good to us. That's about it for the day. Love to all and good night brothers.

Bonnie: Bob has summarized our day. I think everything will go well tomorrow. We are picking up Sister Margetson at about 9:30 and will then go to the church to help the RS President with accepting food for the luncheon. The viewing is at 11 and the funeral at noon. It will be hard for the Branch to say goodbye to Bro. Vottero. It makes me wonder what the future holds for our Branch. After the luncheon Bob will take us home early, about 3:30, so I can get dinner ready for our guests.
Everyone have a good night!
Love, Mom/Bonnie
