Bob and Bonnie: We left Comfort Inn at 9:00 this morning. So much for an early start. One of the last to leave the motel as the parking lot was almost completely empty. We were in route to Misty's when Bonnie discovered how near we would be to Boiling Springs, Chris and Suzy's home. So adjustments were made on the fly and we arrived at Chris and Suzy's about 3:30 I  believe. Their house is beautiful and bordered on 2 sides by acres of soybeans. Across the highway from them are acres of corn. They have one neighbor beside them. Very countrified setting.
We saw a lot of beautiful country travelling today. Pennsylvania has to be one of the most beautiful states in the Union. I'll try and put a couple pictures from a rest stop below.
Suzy fixed 'green' rice with black beans for supper. Very good with avocado and ranch dressing on it stuffed into a tortilla shell. Then we drove to Leo's Ice Cream in Carlilse for dessert. Now it is time to relax and wait for Chris to get home. He'll be surprised for sure. He knew we stopped, but doesn't know we are staying. And we got him a pint of his favorite ice cream.
