January 14, 2017

Bob: It has been a good day. We got up this morning, no new snow on the ground, and left about 10:40 to pickup the Norm and Margaret Villneff. Their car is broken down and we offered to take them shopping. Bonnie and Margaret went grocery shopping while Norm and I stopped at Canadian Tire and TSC looking for a winter head band for myself. Finally found one. I have 2 or 3 at home, but need one here. The ladies finished up about 1:30 and we took them home.
Then we went to visit Donna Craig in the nursing home. She has a cold and sounds very congested. We couldn't talk much with her, but she just wants company around. She even napped a little while we were there. She asked for a blessing as we getting ready to leave so I called the Elders and they came to help. We then left the Elders to visit with Donna. On our way out her daughter, Jeannie, was coming in the door.
Then we drove to Englehart to drop off some muffins to the Fields. Her mother passed away on Wednesday I believe. They are good friends of the Jakob's.
We came home and had dinner. Finally Bonnie started gathering up the ingredients for a broccoli casserole when she realized that she didn't have everything, We made another trip to Walmart to get the necessary item.
That's about it for the day. Hope your weekend has been great. Love to all and good night brothers.

Bonnie:  I'm trying to get organized for Church tomorrow, which includes a Pot Luck dinner. We are picking up our YSA friend and will be leaving earlier than usual. I had two opportunities to buy what I needed before tonight and still forgot to get everything. Oh, well.
Our day has gone well. In fact, one of our less-actives who works at Walmart told us today that she will be coming to church tomorrow. I sincerely hope that she does. The loss of Patsy Jakob has been a wake-up call for some.
Well, it's time to get ready for bed. I hope everyone has a blessed Sabbath day tomorrow.
Love, Mom/Bonnie
