October 31, 2015

Bob: I can't believe the month of October is gone. It seemed to go on forever in my mind, but tomorrow we start November. And we get to sleep in an extra hour. Probably don't need an extra hour as we didn't get up till after 8 today. By the time I did my morning routine and walked on the treadmill for an hour it was 11:15. We then went to the temple. After the temple we thought we would make a quick stop at the grocery store and Walmart. Were we surprised. There were as many shoppers today as there usually are at Christmas. Halloween must be a big holiday here and everyone waited till the last minute to go buy their candy. Bonnie stopped at a shop to get some balloons and the people were lined up inside the store the whole length of the store. She passed on that one.
After we got home and ate we and 4 other couples went up to the Barrett's apartment at 7:00 to wish Sister Clayton a happy birthday. She didn't know we were coming. It was a fun evening chatting with the senior missionaries. We're all getting together Monday night again at the Ludlow's monthly dinner for the seniors. The Ludlow's have been feeding the senior missionaries on the first Monday of each month for 25 years now. We are buying them theater and dinner tickets as a surprise thank you.
Our granddaughter, Hannah, had a car accident Friday and is in the hospital. She lost a couple teeth and has some facial cuts and injuries, but will be alright. She will be in the hospital for a while.
Love to all and good night brother.

Bonnie:  We are fasting for Hannah tomorrow. She looks so sore with her cuts and bruises in the picture that Joey sent us. Apparently, she rolled her car. We don't know the details yet, but she needs our prayers.
We accomplished a lot today, for which I'm grateful. We did endowments for two of Bob's ancestors in the temple today. And we were the witness couple again! It was crazy shopping, that's for sure. I couldn't believe the long lines everywhere we went. I was able to get everything I needed, though, which is a miracle. We had an enjoyable evening. Each of us shared our favorite experience so far on our missions. I had to share two, though. I couldn't help it. I feel very, very blessed.
Let's all have a worshipful Sabbath tomorrow and honor our Savior in all we do. We love you all.
Love,
Mom/Bonnie

  1. Are you back on Facebook, mom? I've been following Hannah's accident from there, but I don't know anything.

  2. We don't know a lot except she had an accident. She lost a couple of teeth and her face has some injuries. She has been moved from the hospital to another facility. That's about the last we heard.
