Bonnie: It's late tonight but we have been very busy! Bob had to change a tire because I ran over something on the way home from shopping. He also did the wash, so he has been a very busy husband! It was a busy, kind of frustrating day. The new referral system is not working well because the missionaries do not receive the texts. We have received a very special referral, the sister/daughter of some friends of one of the temple couples who are from Calgary. The family is from Iran and they want their daughter to hear about the gospel. They were supposed to see her last week, but never got the referral. So, I called the missionaries directly. They have an appointment Saturday! This is one situation where the new Farsi Book of Mormon will be excellent. Apparently, she knows something about the gospel and is very interested in it. The gospel is going to all the world, right before our very eyes!
May everyone have a wonderful week-end. We will be celebrating the Canadian Thanksgiving with our friends in Elk Lake. We are leaving tomorrow morning.
Love,
Mom/Bonnie
Bob: Not much going on at work today. Still looking for apartments and we have apartments to close. Never seems to end. Got most of the accounting caught up and worked on the budget today. Need to get President Clayton's approval on it now.
Looking forward to leaving early tomorrow, but will have to check on a tire first. I think the spare is okay for the one she put the hole in, but I will need to get a spare. A guy on the elevator told about a tire shop that is pretty close. They open at eight and I want to be there when they open.
Better close and get to bed as it is almost 11. Baseball playoffs started and the local team didn't do too well. Toronto got beat. Pittsburgh got beat yesterday by the Cubs. The Pirates and Cubs had the 2nd and 3rd best records in all of baseball and had to play each other where one was going to be one and done. Doesn't seem quite right, but that is the way the cookie crumbles.
Good night and love to all. Good night brother.
Love,
Dad/Bob
