Went to visit Donna in the nursing home. She said she hates it! The nursing home was celebrating its 35th birthday today and they had entertainment and dessert for all the residents and visitors. The owner was there shaking hands, etc. Donna's spirits did seem to pick up the longer we stayed and she didn't seem to mind going to dinner when it was time.
We didn't get the appointment in Kirkland Lake we thought we would tonight. May get to bed early for a change. We have watched our Murdoch Mysteries for the night and after the blog we can retire.
Below are some pictures I took today. The first one explains the site and the other 2 are pictures of the Wabi River. Mr. Farah tried to dam the river to make his power plant I believe.
Better get to bed. Love to all and good night brothers.

Bonnie: I spent the evening making another blueberry pie for our friends, the Cannons, who will be here tomorrow afternoon. They work in the mission office as the "medical" advisers for the missionaries. They will be here all weekend so we have planned some things they might like to do. Their biggest desire is to see the Northern Lights, but that is chancy at best. We understand from the locals that you need to go farther north and watch for them in the middle of the night. There also cannot be clouds in the sky.
This weekend the Stake Relief Society President will also be visiting our Branch. We have a meeting scheduled for after church. This would normally be fine, but I want to have a big dinner for the Cannons and our Branch Elders after church. Oh, well. It will all work out.
May everyone have a wonderful day tomorrow. Let's enjoy the fall colors!!
Love, Mom/Bonnie
