Bob: Well I got the word today that I can sign the lease Friday for another apartment here in Vertica. And we'll be starting the lease on the 16th of December. So their hold ups cost them 1270.00, but saved us 1270.00. Hope they are satisfied. Also got my $3500 check today to put into our account so we'll have ready access to cash for rent deposits when they come up. Think I'll frame that permission letter.
Went to Mississauga Institute class tonight. Only 3 students were there. Brother Wild is the instructor for 3 more weeks than the new CES couple will start off in January for the new term.
We have 2 sisters in Sarnia that have been evicted from their apartment. There was an explosion there Sunday night at 1:30 and everyone had to evacuate. No one was allowed back into the place. Blew out part of the side of the building and put the fire alarm system, fire water system and elevator out of commission. It is being investigated as a possible meth lab explosion. The sisters were picked up by the 1st Counselor and his wife at 2:30 in the morning standing outside the building. No one is being allowed back in the building for at least 2 weeks. They can't go back and get anything. The Ward is taking care of all their needs right now. We are going to try to give a move-out notice before the end of the month. The building has turned into a known drug distribution center.
Well I'm hitting the sack. Got some pictures of our first snow this morning, but the camera is at the office. Will put them on the blog tomorrow night. Love to all, and good night brother.

Bonnie: Not much to relate tonight. It was a relatively quiet day. The most important thing I got done was ordering the "A Savior Is Born" pass along cards in Chinese. This was a first-time experience ordering something different from the business card company. They were very helpful, thankfully. I hope they are correct! I wish we could do it in Farsi--the Elders want it so badly--but the church did not offer them in that language.
Tomorrow we will meet the Cannon's. I hope we can make their adjustments go well. It will make for a crowded mission office because they will have to be in the President's office, except, of course, when he is there and the APs have to work on transfers. The door remains shut because the "Transfer Board" is in there. It's important not to let the other missionaries see it until their "transfer" phone calls come. Transfers are next week, a week from today, actually. Then the following Friday is MLC. It will be a really crazy week.
May everyone have a wonderful day tomorrow
Love, Mom/Bonnie
