We also drove past the CN tower, the basketball arena for the Toronto Raptors and the Rogers Center, home of the American League East Division leading Toronto Blue Jays. I am listening to them beat up on the Yankees right now. Won last night, the 1st game of today's double header, and leading by 6 in the 2nd game.
The weather has turned cool for the weekend, but is warming up to the 80's later this week. It has drizzled off and on most of the day. First mate has turned off the furnace blower and is walking around with a hooded sweatshirt on. I don't have any shirt on. We have contrasting ideas of a comfortable temperature!
We plan on going up in the CN Tower for dinner one night. We haven't decided when to go yet. We want it to be a clear night so we can watch the city lights come on. It is pretty visible. You might remember we drove to Niagara On the Lake one day. That was a 90 minute trip. I walked down to the Lake Ontario shore while there and I could see the CN tower in the distance. Here are some facts about the CN tower: (The CN Tower is a 553.33 m-high (1,815.4 ft) concrete communications and observation tower in downtown Toronto. It was completed in 1976, becoming the world's tallest free-standing structure and world's tallest tower at the time. It held both records for 34 years until the completion of Burj Khalifa and Canton Tower in 2010. It is now the 3rd tallest tower in the world and remains the tallest free-standing structure in the Western Hemisphere.)
Hope everyone has had a wonderful Saturday.

Bonnie: It was fun today walking around one small part of The Path. There is so much more to explore here. If you like to shop it would be like heaven! We had lunch at a Thai Restaurant and it was delicious. Then, we all got blizzards at DQ for dessert. We definitely want to go back.
Tonight was the Saturday night meeting before our Stake Conference tomorrow. It was wonderful. One of my favorite Sister Missionaries spoke, Sister Arnold. Two important themes emerged. One is the importance of doing family history work--actually having our youth doing it. We are promised by an apostle of the Lord that this will help them be protected from Satan and his influences. The second theme was keeping the Sabbath Day holy, that this will help strengthen our faith in Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. It's so interesting how we are being reminded to keep a commandment that was given to Moses thousands of years ago. The laws of God don't change! I look forward to attending tomorrow to hear from the Stake President and the other speakers. It's been a very good day.
May we all have an inspirational Sabbath tomorrow.
Love,
Mom/Bonnie
