Bob: We are back home in Temiskaming. Trip up here took longer than I expected, but I think that might be because we left an hour late and stopped for an hour. But it was a good trip. We just couldn't make very good time because the police were patrolling today. The weather is a little cooler up here too. Tomorrow should be fun as Brad has a large breakfast planned and then the Branch has their picnic starting at 11:00. They are having the picnic at Brother Cambridge's cottage out at Twin Lakes. It should be fun.
Going to sign off now as it is late and I have a lot of scriptures to read.
Love to all and bless you all.
Dad/Bob

Bonnie: We are staying at Brad's house! It's been a nice ride to get here and we are loving the break from city life. It's so beautiful here--we love it. Of course, the phone kept ringing on the way up with missionaries needing our help. The father of a missionary called and told us about a Haitian missionary that their son befriended at the MTC. Both young men are here on missions. Every night at the MTC this missionary would wash out his socks. That's when his son realized this missionary only had one pair of socks! He had no support from his family in Haiti. His ward was paying for his mission. This missionary has lost the support of his ward for some reason, so he is in dire straights. The father wants to help pay for his mission as well as his son's and is trying to figure out how to do it. As Bob has mentioned it's tricky transferring money from the US to Canada. It's something that Bob will be working on for sure. I pray it will work out. It's late so I am getting ready for bed. I know that Bob will want to tell you about his experiences with getting a truck to go to an apartment in Brockville. He will be learning how to have patience on our mission that's for sure! We'll let you know how the Branch picnic goes tomorrow night.
My love to all.
Love, Mom/Bonnie
