Bob: It was a pretty good day. Started with a little drizzle of rain, but it didn't last long. Still cool, but quite comfortable with a sweater. Got everything done that I had planned and spent some time on the new phone report. Will have President Clayton review the old report and see what he thinks. I'll let him make the call on any further detail he might want.
Sister Meleisea had a birthday today so she and her companion, Sister Edwards cooked lunch and had a Dairy Queen cake for some of the Brampton missionaries and the office staff today. It was quite nice. As a birthday gift for her I washed up all the dishes they dirtied preparing the meal.
We went to Brother and Sister Ludlow's tonight for the monthly dinner. By cutting the group in half we have much more room and aren't so crowded. It was a nice meal with pot pie, potatoes, and some sides. She had cheese cake for dessert. Really quite good.
Then we went to FHE at the BSC. Dropped off Sean and Belinda before we went to Staples to pick up some lamination packets for Bonnie. She had called on Saturday and inquired about them. They had put them at the checkout register and were going to hold them till 6. No one had taken them back to the display so we were able to get them. Bonnie was quite relieved to get them.
Went back to BSC to get Sean and Belinda to take them home. We got home just before 10.
I listened to the Blue Jays lose another one, 2 - 1. Had the bases loaded in the 8th with one out and hit a fly to right field. The throw home doubled up the runner. Then in the 9th they got the lead-off man on, but couldn't move him around. First a bad bunt got the lead runner. Then great defensive plays nailed the lead runner 2 more times. The magic from last year hasn't kicked in yet.
Time to go to bed. Love to all and good night brothers. Bonnie also sends her love.
