Bob: Last day of January and the temperature was in the 40s and no snow on the roads. We didn't imagine this a year ago when we were getting ready to go to Toronto for the winter. But we're not complaining. They say February is the worse month however. We'll see how it goes.
We talked to Jeff and Scott tonight so we're caught up on their news. Try to do 2 more next Sunday. Tried to Skype with them, but they couldn't hear us. I have yet to see a conversation in Skype that was half the quality of face-time on an Ipad. To me Skype is a complete waste of time.
Not too many at church today as there were several YSAs at Montreal for a Young Adults Conference. I think they had a good time as there were several pictures on Facebook.
I am cutting this short tonight to hit the hay. Start another grind tomorrow The first 2 days of the week are long ones and it takes a lot out of us. But there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
Making plans on spending the last weekend of February in Temiskaming for some ice fishing. Told them I don't want to be cold and I especially don't want to get WET. No one seems to be worried about either. I am still somewhat concerned about it.
My love to everyone and good night brothers.

Bonnie: It's been a wonderful Sabbath Day. We were reminded about President Monson's advice to CPR today--go to Church, Pray and Read the scriptures. There was an excellent talk on the Atonement, too. During Priesthood and Relief Society, our Bishop, who has spent his whole professional career doing financial planning, spoke on how to handle money. It's something that the YSAs need to hear. He spent quite a bit of time talking about how to do a budget. He and his wife are financially very well off, yet they are still on a budget! Very good advice from a pro. The soups today were a hit. The squash soup was my favorite. There was plenty to go around because of the fewer numbers.
The best part of the day was talking to Scott and Jeff and their wives and children. Because our sound was not working, it was interesting to communicate with Thea and Nolan. We could hear them and see them, but they could not hear us. The best part was when they gave us kisses--right up to the computer screen! I love it.
My love and kisses to all!
Love, Mom/Bonnie
